Evaluating Your Child's Spiritual Condition → raisinggodlychildren.org

A huge concern of mine… what feels like a huge burden. It’s all on me & I’m failing them here. :(

Mark Driscoll Affirms Men as Head of Wives in Latest 'Real Marriage' Sermon → christianpost.com

I love sermons like this… the ‘down to it no excuses this is the way He wants it so stop questioning it let’s clean ourselves up & just do it’ type.

Of course this one doesn’t apply to me directly hehe… but I love those too; I need them.

This one is so so important in our culture today, because of the ongoing attack on the family.

It makes me sad though, for what I/we don’t have, & what I/we are missing. :(

I really wish I could go back to bed & just stay there for a week or two. Can someone come do life for me for a while?

Please?

Today stinks. No promises of better to come…. that’s probably the worst thing.

“Generally, by the time you are real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don’t matter at all, because once you are real you can’t be ugly, except to people who don’t understand.” —“The Velveteen Rabbit” by Margery Williams (via unboundeddomesticity)

Bad day… was running behind from the get go… tons of things waiting to get done… other things I’m behind on but trying to get done…  school getting done inbetween it all… there are phone calls that need to be made but aren’t… I haven’t eaten a decent meal all day (so ordered some junk)… my feet hurt more than usual because it was an exercise day (that always does them in)… the kids are pulling me every which way… and now the cat is meowing at me.

I’m so fried.

Earlier today here I dissed UPS for leaving my boxes out in the rain & they did it again! Thankfully the items inside weren’t damaged, but enough is enough.

I’ve complained about this before to them, but it was a long time ago. Me thinks another phone call is in order…

… ugh delivery people!! Rain gets packages wet, which can damage the contents inside - is that a difficult concept for you?? I know for a fact you have plastic bags to put the boxes into on rainy days. How difficult is that to do?

Isn’t it your job to make sure items arrive to their destination safely??
