“Political Correctness demands tolerance of everything that is immoral, offensive, sinful and godless. The average citizen is sick and tired of the politicians and courts pushing political correctness down the throats of Christians and people of moral value. If someone wants to speak out against homosexuality or abortion, he is immediately labeled by the liberal media. The liberal media is telling us that it is politically correct for people to walk around nude in the streets of San Francisco, but we can’t put a manger scene on the town green. I think this is a warped, perverted, and subtle attempt to stomp out Christianity.” —Matthew 11:6 (HCSB)
6  And if anyone is not offended because of Me, he is blessed.”

My 4 year old’s were just singing along to Daydream Believer… so, so sad about losing Davy Jones. :(

You know, UPS, you are just soooooooooo predictable.

I’ve vented about problems with them leaving my packages in the rain, even in puddles, in my driveway. I had not made any phone calls about it for quite a while (it didn’t help before).

Well, yesterday, when it was not raining, they rang the doorbell & left a package tucked neatly within the door frame, where it would stay dry…

…when it was not raining, nor were there any signs of rain in the clear blue sky.

I told my husband that next time it rains, I will surely find packages outside, with no cover, & perhaps in a puddle.

Sooooooooo predictable.

Today, it is raining & wet outside. My son just went out to find packages delivered, from UPS, on the wet driveway, being rained on, with no coverage whatsoever.

Ahhhhh, yes, UPS, at least you lived up to my expectations… yet again.

RIP Davey Jones

kindnessalwaysmatters:

I did once think of you as, “My white knight on his steed”. You were my first crush! You were worth every thumbtack hole and getting into trouble for, covering my newly painted bedroom wall with all of the posters and pictures of you from every teen magazine. RIP Davey. You were a sweetheart!

Honestly, I’m quite devastated. The Monkees were one of my first “favs” of my youth, watched in re-runs. Although I was not necessarily a “Davy girl”, I love all of them! I’m so sad to hear of his loss. My prayers go out to his family… so sad. :(

It’s a cold, dreary, rainy day, & I’d like to be doing what all my cats are doing right now…

…the life of a pampered indoor kitty… {sigh}

I woke up & found these in the pantry this morning…

Okay, I knew they were there & I was looking for chocolate.

This whole starting over, picking up the pieces thing isn’t working… why am I not surprised.

At least they are dairy, nut, & soy free… & they still taste good.

But a good breakfast they do not make.

I went to school with a “leap year baby”. I think it’d be pretty cool to be born 2/29… I mean, those folks age so much slower than the rest of us. ;-)
