    Okay, my son was only mildly amused by that title.

    Anyway, this is a great fun fact… & #15, if you’re counting.

    Skunks were originally classified by scientists as a member of the weasel family, otherwise known as Mustelidae, which includes weasels, minks, otters, badgers, and martens. However, recent genetic evidence suggests that skunks are not as closely related to the mustelids due, in part, to glandular differences. They are now classified in their own family - Mephitidae.
