    There are many that would say the Church’s anti-birth control stance is blatant discrimination against those who practice it (which I have heard includes a great many Catholics). Is that not also denying freedom? Glass houses and all that.                           

    Regardless of the church issues, why is it fair that someone has to pay for someone else’s birth control? Or abortions for that matter? If that’s what you want, you have the legal right to it. But, there is no reason to make someone else pay for it, never mind force them to go against their moral standards to do so. Many forms of birth control actually cause the body to abort. So to many, it’s the same thing.

    Birth control is not a medical necessity. But if someone wants birth control it is widely available & accessible; they can get it for themselves. There’s no reason why our hard earned money must go toward supporting other people’s personal choices in their lives.
